Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Service Officer for a 12 month contract in Toronto. This is a Hybrid role, 3 days from home, 2 days onsite Wednesday and Thursday. There is a high possibility of contract extension and conversion to full time opportunity.
Pay rate: $19.81 / Hour
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 to 5:00, first week may be 9 am.
Overtime is available during peak hours.

Responsibilities
As a Service Officer, your duties will include but not limited to:
●Processing transactions accurately and on time
●Escalating processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained
●Owning, escalating and resolving issues with the focus of client service excellence.
●Serving clients as required – adhere to Service Level Agreements
●Following firm and industry regulations and operating practices
●Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives
●Participating fully as a member of the team, promote team effectiveness
●Contributing to the success of the team by willingly assisting peers in the performance.
●Supporting the team by continuously developing knowledge in own area
●Ensuring adherence to all HR policies, other Bank, and Industry Codes of Conduct
●Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
●Multitasking with multiple applications
●Adapting to fast paced environment/ under pressure / high volumes
●Knowing and applying system capabilities
●Assisting in analysis, development, testing, and implementation of operating and process improvements
Qualifications
●Post-secondary education
●Back office banking/ FI experience
●Ms outlook experience ( excel, word, pp)
●Time management skills
●Attention to detail
●Computer language knowledge
●Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and keyboarding skills
●Possess strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
●Commitment to client service excellence
●Customer Service skills with the ability to focus, execute and meet or exceed client expectations.
