Randstad, in collaboration with the NSW Electoral Commission, is seeking proficient Senior Supervisors to join our team for the Local Government Elections 2024.
About the role:
The Senior Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing processes, providing support to supervisors within your team, updating the count manager on progress, and liaising with other managers within the counting and results processes.

... - Overseeing processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.
- Monitor workflow and identify opportunities for improvement to optimize operations.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to supervisors to ensure they have the necessary resources and information to effectively manage their teams.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by supervisors and provide timely resolution.
- Regularly update the count manager on the status of activities, including progress, challenges, and potential delays.
- Collaborate with the count manager to address any issues or concerns that may impact the overall counting process.
- Maintain open communication and collaboration with other managers involved in the counting and results processes, such as batching, scanning, data entry, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination of activities across departments.
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve goals and objectives.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Capacity to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and precision in all aspects of batching operations.
Essential Criteria:
- You must be an Australian citizen
- You will have previous experience working at an Election
- You need to be on the electoral roll
