Primary purpose of the role
Deliver a range of expert, customer-focused designs and digital user experiences that meet NSW Government objectives and goals. Apply a deep understanding of design thinking, bringing together user research, interactive design, and architecture, to create innovative experiences supporting high-value products and services.
Key accountabilities
- Collaborate with diverse teams and individuals to create a consistently cooperative environment that facilitates efficient service.
- Resolve technical disagreements, regardless of their complexity or potential impact.
- Bring ideas by creating visual representations of service concepts, and designing visually appealing models that are suitable and meet the expected standard.
- Simplify and make complex technical information easy to understand for non-technical audiences.
- Help facilitate challenging discussions within the team or with various stakeholders.
Key knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated expertise in AWS, Azure, a strong grasp of Azure Active Directory, DNS, Windows, and Linux operating systems, and a practical understanding of database systems
- Experience developing end-to-end solution design using Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Technologies
- Problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills including the ability to recommend improvements/alternatives.
- Consulting, negotiating, and vendor management skills and ability to work with diverse teams and key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.
