Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for an experienced, dynamic Senior Site Manager to work on a major scheme in Reading for a Tier One contractor. The role involves managing the site as a number one, reporting directly into both the Project Manager and the Contracts Manager, daily reporting, managing health and safety on site and driving the projcet forward.
The role offers progressional opportunities, the chance to work on leading projects and a competitive salary of up to £75k.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day site operations on a high-profile education project.
- Ensure timely delivery of the project within budget, meeting all quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site personnel, and stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management and the client.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, ideally on large-scale educational or public sector projects.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and to high standards.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and relevant regulations.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are essential. Degree education or equivalent (NVQ etc) are highly relevant.
- Ability to foster excellent working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
