Role Overview: This role supports key stakeholders in implementing the HSE strategy and divisional plans, working closely with the Built Form and Projects teams to drive HSE processes through coaching and awareness initiatives. You'll play a hands-on role, conducting site visits to implement the HSE Framework, including assurance processes, contractor management, risk assessments, incident investigations, and training.
Responsibilities:
- Lead HSE strategy design and execution for operational improvements.
- Implement safety management systems and HSE practices across diverse teams.
- Conduct audits, training, and risk management to elevate organizational safety culture.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 4+ years in HSE roles within high-risk industries (e.g., construction, utilities, mining).
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, ICAM Lead Investigator preferred.
- Advanced Diploma in WHS or equivalent; Cert IV Training and Assessment and Construction Card desirable.
- Proven track record in safety management systems, training delivery, and HSE legislation expertise.
Skills:
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail, self-management, and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
