An international construction company specializing in construction and engineering, with operations spanning domestic and international projects. They are currently looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors (O&G) to join their team, working on oil and gas projects. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of high-profile developments.
About the Role:
- Responsible for cost analysis and control, monthly claim preparation and evaluation, upkeep of document flow for on-going projects.
- Responsible for tender calling, tender evaluation, tender evaluation and analysis and assisted in tender report during tendering process.
- Responsible cost estimation, costing and procurement for future development.
- Responsible for contract administration in accordance with the COC.
- Independent on resolving contractual issues like handling contractual letters, EOTs, etc.
- Able to do hands-on matters such as measurement / taking off during pre, post and final contract stages.
- Able to maintain proper and systematic documentation filing system for outgoing and incoming contract correspondences.
- Attend any meeting as and when required.
- Review and prepare a final account for recommendations to the immediate report.
About the Team:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Contract Manager and acting in the capacity of a sole contributor.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years experience in the relevant field.
- Consultancy exposure is essential, with a deep understanding of pre- and post-contract processes.
- Experience in Oil and Gas projects is preferable
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage timelines accordingly.
