We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Specialist for one of our long term partners in the utilities sector. This company is investing heavily in renewable energy, upgrades, innovation, new infrastructure, new projects, diversity and sustainability.
The role will involve:
- Purchasing/sourcing across multiple categories including mainly goods and some services
- Management of existing preferred suppliers, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships and driving added value for the organisation and its customers
- Analysis and reporting of supplier performance, supply chain risks and procurement activities to identify long term opportunities for improvement and savings
- Management of POs in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy of pricing/quotations
