This role will provide on-site engineering services in support to the Project Manager and Supervisor to assist in the achievement of organisational and project objectives.
Key Accountabilities

- In-conjunction with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor prepare daily programming of site works.
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, statutory requirements and specifications.
- Notify the Project Manager and Supervisor of any defects, contaminations or variations found, within a timely manner.
- Assist with preparation of site construction reports as required by the Project Manager and General Manager/Construction Manager.
- Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Project Manager.
- Identify and assess project risks and report these to the Project Manager.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
- Experience working on water and/or wastewater utilities infrastructure projects
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite
- Ability to prepare, monitor and update short-term production bar charts.
- Ability to produce SWMS.
- Ability to formulate and prepare minor contractual claims and variations.
- Detailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreement pertaining to specific project.
- Working knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have extensive experience working on water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects in Australia, specifically shaft construction or microtunnelling.
