The Product Manager will define requirements, optimize solutions, and align them with company strategic goals. This role involves guiding merchants through product integration and launch, fostering ongoing partnership growth and driving the delivery of a product/feature—working withinternal and external teams.1. Define requirements and risks a. Establish clear technical and product requirements based on business needs through collaboration with key stakeholders. b. Support the Domain Lead in generating innovative concepts for business expansion using product expertise. 2. Oversee development and optimization a. Collaborate with stakeholders during development to ensure successful initiative delivery. b. Track performance metrics to assess product success and drive improvements. c. Share key performance data with merchants. 3. Facilitate communication between teams a. Translate business needs for execution teams to ensure swift action during product development. b. Communicate technical risks and bottlenecks to enable informed business decisions. c. ■Technical Skills:
● 5+ years in Product Management** within financial services, fintech, retail, banking, or payments.
● Knowledge of consumer products** and mobile applications.
● Experience in defining and building products** using best practices.
● Ability to break down products** into incrementally deliverable features.
● Design and conduct A/B tests** for product optimization.
● Familiar with software development methodologies** (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
● Proficient in web/mobile analytics** and user behavior analysis (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics).
● Understanding of software architecture** and cloud technologies.
● Ability to define service behaviors in APIs**.
● Familiarity with data analysis tools/languages** (e.g., spreadsheets, SQL, R, Python).
■Business/Communication Skills:
● Excellent communicator, collaborating with external merchants and driving product launches.
● Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences, including engineers and executives.
● Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
● Curious problem solver with a proactive and collaborative approach.
● Strong quantitative skills with market intelligence insights.
● Experience in launching new products/services is a plus.
■Language Requirements:
● Excellent English technical writing and speaking ability
● Japanese a plus
■Educational Background:
● University degree
● MBA a plus
