about the job
... - Collaborate with the Sales and Engineering teams to engage with new prospects, documenting their requirements and key findings.
- Conduct product demonstrations focused on data center infrastructure solutions.
- Assist the Sales and Engineering teams in preparing presentation slides, solution proposals, bill of materials (BOM), and responses to RFPs and tenders.
- Ensure that prospect requirements are met, including the integration of third-party products as necessary.
- Research relevant technologies in the solution domain to enhance product positioning, incorporating any value-adding technologies identified.
- Develop and finalize the Scope of Work (SOW) in collaboration with the Sales and Engineering teams and the Post-Sales team.
- Participate in hand-over meetings with the Post-Sales team upon successful project acquisition.
- Stay updated on new products and changes introduced by principals or third-party vendors.
- Complete required product certification training.
- Understand and implement the company's marketing strategies while keeping abreast of competitors’ products and strategies, providing feedback to management.
- Represent the company at exhibitions to showcase products and solutions, capture leads, and network with industry professionals to remain informed about market trends.
- Achieve targets set for the Pre-Sales team based on assigned line cards.
- Validate pre-sales solution designs and sizing.
- Mentor and coach the pre-sales team.
- Lead technical discussions with suppliers regarding new initiatives.
- Manage cross-solution bundles.
- Attend Quarterly Business Review (QBR) sessions with the sales team.
requirement & qualification
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certifications is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a data center infrastructure setting.
- Experience with mechanical or electrical vendors in the data center sector is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa are essential for understanding job requirements and solving problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment, even under pressure.
