Your responsibility involves:
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Respond to network alerts and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Conduct regular network maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle network breakfix tasks such as switch replacements, link repairs, and dark fiber restorations, coordinating with technicians to perform physical work and providing remote instructions.
- Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve network design and performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, issues, and resolutions.
- Support and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure security measures are in place and updated according to best practices.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of network projects and upgrades.
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have at least 5 years of experience in network. You should have implemented at least 1 end to end SAP implementation.
Candidates with exposure to VLAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and OSI will be highly preferred.
