Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager for Group Reporting to join our team in Johor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and consolidating the financial reporting for the group, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management.

... Group Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Coordinate with subsidiaries and business units to gather and consolidate financial data.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all financial reporting regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on changes in financial reporting standards and implement necessary updates.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Financial Analysis and Insights:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and the board of directors.
- Identify key financial trends, risks, and opportunities for the group.
Internal Controls and Process Improvement:
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the group reporting function.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of financial processes and systems.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the group.
- Consolidate budget submissions from subsidiaries and business units.
- Monitor and report on budget variances and performance against targets.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the group reporting team to achieve high standards of performance.
- Provide ongoing training and development to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Proven experience in the property development and infrastructure industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
