The successful candidate will closely cooperate with Immunology national sales leadership, the broader cross-functional (incl. alliance) brand team as well as regional and global brand leadership. They will ensure excellent alignment and communication between key brand functions locally and help ensure above-market leadership and support functions have the necessary insights regarding local country dynamics and performance.The Senior Manager, Commercialization will build, support and track the execution of local brand and tactical plans and participate in regional activities as appropriate for all relevant indications. The individual reports to our company’s Associate Director, Commercialization in JapanSummary of Key Responsibilities• Working with the Associate Director, Commercialization Japan on the implementation of local commercialisation strategies across assigned therapeutic area in cooperation with Alliance partner.• Ensure a successful and productive working relationship with cross-functional colleagues and our co-commercialization partner as a primary point of contact for our Alliance partner• Partner with the sales team in providing brand strategic direction.• Provide high quality inputs where required to local market development and commercial activities for relevant indications and cooperate with Commercialization Associate manager• Support implementation of local tactical plans and the provision of marketing/sales support materials.• Ensure tracking of agreed KPIs to allow early course correction and ensure execution of key tactics.• Collaborate and provide input to our company’s regional organisation on strategies, tactics and insights.• Ensure development of the field force, (e.g. Providing sales strategy, appropriate tactical tracker) in collaboration with our partner.• Ensure close collaboration with the global marketing team as part of the global brand planning process.

Required
• Established track record in successful marketing and sales management in the pharmaceutical industry
• Outstanding knowledge of specialty care commercialisation in Japan
• Strong business and analytical skills for ease of tracking and communicating key KPIs/metrics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience to manage marketing or sales related team for day to day operational activities (does not need to be direct people management experience)
• Desired to have day to day operational alliance management experience as a point of contact
• Strong project and process skills with attention to detail
• Must be able to operate in fast paced launch environment
• Energetic self-starter with pragmatic and operationally oriented working style, excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Must be willing to travel approximately 10-20% and willing to travel on weekends to conferences and meetings, as needed.
