As a market leader within the Luxury F&B sector, they are constantly focused on innovation and diversification. International markets have a significant expansion opportunity, with a consumer penetration focus, category creation and expansion, and new market expansion.
They are looking for an experienced candidate with a background in business planning / commercial excellence in Global Travel Retail to set up the Commercial Excellence function for the Group. Based in Singapore, you will get to drive automation led analytics of revenue, sales & profitability to support decision making for annual/monthly sales forecasting/planning & long-term profitable market share growth.
You will be responsible for setting up the Sales training function leading - capability upgrade for the commercial organization, overseeing automation, analytics, forecasting accuracy, revenue growth management, key account management & top-class outlet execution.
Role
Reporting & Dashboards
- Leverage the Sales Analysts to promote standardized reporting & develop action-driven automated dashboards.
- automation driven solutions which drive effectiveness and efficiencies within the organization.
Performance Enablement
- Maintain and update the GTR performance scorecard aligned to the GTR vision by region/key customers.
- Collaborate with teams to enable Joint Business Planning with key customers through structured systems and processes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the store execution to deliver the best in-class store experience.
Lead the Commercial Learning & development teams
- Lead the training vertical for the commercial organization, develop a commercial learning calendar for all existing team members & new hires in commercial function.
- Oversee high quality content creation in areas of Data & Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, Premiumization, Supply Chain Forecasting, Outlet execution.
- Conduct talent needs assessment sharing insights with the HR & talent development team for future hiring in Commercial organization.
Review Process
- Lead the Monthly Commercial Review process along with the Sales & Marketing function heads.
- Review of Automation tools performance & Usage
Skills & experiences required
- 10-15 Years experience in the FMCG / Consumer sectors in a Sales / Commercial Excellence / Business planning function.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent - at least some experience in field sales and demonstrated progressive levels of people responsibility (incl. direct sales reports)
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of sales forecasting software strong analytical experience utilizing Excel, Tableau.
- Enterprise thought leadership and perspective on the most critical growth drivers of the business over the long-term
- Exceptional business, commercial and financial acumen
- Experience working with a variety of stakeholders including the senior management and executive level
- Communication and Presentation / Facilitation Skills (verbal & written): Effectively transfers thoughts and expresses ideas orally or verbally in individual or group situations.
- 1 year contract role with bonus upon completion of contract
