- Monday to Friday permanent full time (Flexible hours) 7am/8am start

Responsibilities
- Import/Export: coordinate inbound/outbound container shipments inbound/outbound and book Inter-north American transport/trucking companies;
- Domestic transfers: communicate regularly with with carriers to track and update status of shipments on domestic routes;
- Rail fleet management: handle all documentation and communication concerning railcar delivery and maintenance, and track all railcar movements to maintain production requirements
- Claims management: manage transport-related claims, such as
claims, such as accidents, incidents or loss of products in to the appropriate channels;
- Pallet inventory management: planning and coordinating pallet procurement for Eastern facilities to meet operational requirements; reconcile pallet inventories with suppliers to ensure accuracy;
- Financial oversight: review and approve all invoices to stakeholders and suppliers involved in transportation, logistics and wagon management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics and supply chain or related field;
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in logistics, supply chain or equivalent;
- Experience in the food industry (an asset);
- Proven experience working with rail carriers particularly with CN and CP;
- Commitment to quality standards in all logistics processes
- Bilingualism (written and spoken) to communicate with our English and French sites;
- Adaptability, analytical skills, versatility and ability to work under pressure;
- Team spirit and leadership skills;
