Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Fintech senior legal counsel to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of our fintech business, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal advice within the dynamic fintech sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret changes in regulations and their impact on the business.
- Provide legal advice to ensure company operations and transactions comply with local and international laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with external law firms to handle complex legal issues.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on legal strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, with legal practice qualification and related industry exposure.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with commercial law, contract law, and international law.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
