Our client is a well-established financial institution based in Hong Kong. They are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager/IT Manager specializing in IT infrastructure and electronic trading systems to join their team.

- Manage resources and act as a thought leader in the technology space for IT infrastructure projects, security, trading system implementation, and operation in Hong Kong
- Gather requirements from headquarters and business stakeholders to define and manage budget, manpower, and delivery plans for the projects
- Execute IT roadmaps reflecting the digital needs and opportunities in line with the global IT strategies from the headquarters
- Participate in enforcing the IT security governance, developing and executing the IT policies
- Understand and predict technology trends, services, and functionality, and comprehend the market adoption of emerging services and business models
- Collaborate with front-office and back-office teams to understand their needs and suggest workable solutions to improve the workflow of trading and back-office operations
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and background working in managerial roles at financial institutions, securities firms, or banks
- A good understanding of systems for the financial industry such as trading systems (e.g., Fidessa/Bloomberg Terminal) and clearing systems (e.g., CCASS/DCASS) is preferable
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, including but not limited to networks, Windows servers, switches, firewalls, VMware, IP Phone, etc
- Solid experience in planning and developing IT policies and procedures for enterprise-level business
- Experience in budgeting, project management, team management, and 3rd party vendor management
- Good communication skills and a business mindset, with the ability to manage relationships with business stakeholders
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese is a must, and currently based in Hong Kong.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as IT Manager
