Randstad Digital is currently working with a top tier Queensland-based organisation to find an End User Computing Specialist to join an experienced team. This role is responsible for providing third and fourth level support in the operation and maintenance of end user platforms. In addition, the Senior EUC Platform Engineer will work closely with other operational, project and architecture teams to design and implement end user computing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) skills in the operation and maintenance of the team’s managed platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in planning, design, architecture, integration, and implementation of new or upgraded platforms, systems and technologies.
- Undertake packaging, testing and deployment of end user applications, organise and deploy managed operating environment (MOE) – physical or virtual, vulnerability management, patches and upgrades.
- Support and maintain the virtual MOE environments including the Citrix Cloud Control plane and on-premises Citrix infrastructure.
- Support the M365 Platform including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint online.
- Undertake research, provide advice and recommendations on the technology environment, including trends within the IT and financial services industry, emerging technologies, service continuity, capacity planning and evaluation of solutions.
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, experience with ITIL framework preferred. Participate in IT Service Management forums including CAB and post incident reviews.
Necessary Skills:
- Proven expertise and the ability to provide technical leadership in one of the following platforms: Managed Operating Environment (MOE), Virtualisation, Microsoft 365, Application packaging and Integration
- Proven expertise in both business and technical facets of the role including experience in most of the following:
- Cloud technologies; Application Packaging; Application Integration; Client-Side Monitoring; Remote Access solutions; Resource and Capacity Planning; Managed Operating System Deployment; Patch management; AD, DNS, DHCP; SSL, CIS Hardening, Security Vulnerability Management, Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Microsoft 365 Suite of Products; Microsoft Exchange; Virtual technologies; Flexera Admin Studio; Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) including CMG; Intune; Group Policy; Single Sign On including ADFS and Azure; Riverbed Aternity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain, support and implement upgrades to the end user systems.
