Responsibilities
-Create and deploy top-tier control systems and user interfaces (HMI/MMI) for industrial equipment.
-Design frameworks and tools to streamline software production in a fast-paced setting.
-Design and implement communication software for industrial applications.
-Identify and resolve intricate technical issues through advanced problem-solving.
-Play a key role in enhancing existing systems and innovating future software designs.
-Effectively convey complex technical concepts, both orally and in writing, in a clear and accessible manner
Qualifications
-Engineering (Masters/Bachelors) (University Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred from an accredited post-secondary institution
-Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience
-Minimum of 5 years’ Experience with Microsoft tools and languages - visual studio, C#, and the .net platform (C, C++ an asset)
-Understanding and experience with basic UX (user experience) principles
-Familiarity with control software and platforms (Modern programmable logic controllers)
