Role: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client, a market leader in the water industry, for a role based in Manchester. This position will focus on electrical engineering within water treatment projects and pumping stations, ensuring the successful delivery of these critical infrastructure projects.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing electrical designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Developing detailed electrical designs for water treatment projects and pumping stations, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Collaborating with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to understand and define project requirements
- Preparing and approving electrical design plans and specifications, including schematics and layout drawings
- Conducting design reviews and ensuring that designs meet all safety, quality, and performance standards
- Managing the timely delivery of electrical design documents and ensuring effective communication with the project team
- Supporting the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring specifications are met
- Providing technical support during project execution, including troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with electrical design regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical design for water treatment projects and pumping stations
- Extensive knowledge of electrical design processes and methodologies
- Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Familiarity with relevant design software and tools
- Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations
- Previous experience in water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations
