The Risk and Resilience Group provides strategic direction and leadership in risk management and resilience. This includes overseeing health and safety, security, emergency management, environmental management, and more. The team drives sustainable practices, ensuring the safety of employees, the public, and the environment.
Position Purpose:
The Senior Business Analyst will enhance Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) processes, improving efficiency and addressing digital safety needs. You'll document current systems, identify areas for improvement, and support solution implementation, contributing to safer work environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Identification:
- Analyse business problems, propose solutions, and document detailed requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and site visits to gather insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align project benefits with strategic goals.
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Oversee system improvements and support change management processes.
- Design and deliver training for new systems.
Transition Management:
- Support go-live transitions and legacy system decommissioning.
- Capture lessons learned and prepare closure reports.
Project Governance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with project decision-making processes.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in business or related discipline (highly desirable).
- 3-6 years of experience in a Senior Business Analyst role, preferably within a large organisation.
- Proven track record in transformation projects, business process analysis, and systems improvement.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with agile practices and a focus on Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) is a plus.
