This position would suit someone who has experience with Land Development, Site Planning, Subdivision, Grading, Earthworks, or Piping Networks.

Responsibilities
◾Create engineering drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
◾Perform calculations for Site Plans, Subdivision Plans, grading, and servicing designs using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
◾Review design drawings
◾Prepare calculations for earthworks
◾Perform quantity take-offs
◾Assist in developing software standards within the department
◾Supervise and support AutoCAD operators, offering mentorship as needed
◾Coordinate training for AutoCAD drafters to enhance skills
◾Manage communication and workflow among designers, project managers, and other AutoCAD drafters
Qualifications
•Relevant College or University qualifications or working experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D
• 5+ years of experience in a professional engineering setting utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Knowledge of surfaces, grading, earthworks, and pipe networks
• Strong leadership abilities
• Well versed with engineering design standards for land development
• Competent in supervisory roles and efficient workload management
