Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage comprehensive audit projects, ensuring alignment with the annual audit plan.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in mitigating risks, working closely with management to implement lasting improvements that support strategic objectives while protecting the interests of customers and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership on significant group-wide reviews, and support audits across regions and product lines.
- Collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders, often handling complex and ambiguous challenges with finesse.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven expertise in auditing within the financial services sector, particularly in large or complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge in analysing both structured and unstructured data to enhance audit efficiency.
- CA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent postgraduate qualifications are preferred.
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Demonstrated success in building and nurturing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A positive mindset and a strong sense of accountability, ensuring projects are driven to completion with excellence.
