Responsibilities
• Create and implement AI/ML models, focusing on NLP, computer vision, and generative AI technologies.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Manage the end-to-end deployment and monitoring of AI models on Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance.
• Establish robust DevOps frameworks and CI/CD workflows for efficient ML development and data engineering.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to understand project needs and deliver effective AI solutions.
• Implement standard processes for data protection, encryption, and access controls to maintain high security and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
1. Minimum four (4) years' experience and success in designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise-grade AI machine learning solutions and data engineering on Microsoft Azure. Expertise in building robust DevOps pipelines for deploying, monitoring and scaling generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), classification, predictions, intelligent document processing and advanced video analytics systems. Experience with developing data pipelines, transforming data, and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance.
Desired Skills
1. Experience and success in designing, implementing, maintaining and scaling enterprise-grade AI ML solutions with Microsoft Azure, proficient in Python including libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn and at least one of the following frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
2. Experience in designing effective data models, building and working with data pipelines, data transformations, feature engineering, model training, and model monitoring using tools such as Azure ML, MLFlow, Kubeflow, etc.
3. Experience with implementing and coordinating CI/CD workflows to automate testing, integration, and delivery of ML components, and ensuring the security and compliance of ML platforms by implementing standard processes for encryption, data protection and access controls.
4. Experience in managing tools like Databricks and Apache Spark to perform efficient computation and management of complex data warehouses and lakes.
5. Good understanding of Azure security capabilities across AI infrastructure, services and data to meet requirements of enterprise-grade solutions.
6. Familiar with Azure cloud infrastructure architecture, functionalities, and configurations. Familiarity with Azure network configuration including virtual network, Azure private DNS. Familiar with Azure services, including Azure Cognitive Search, Azure ML Studio, Azure Custom Vision, Azure Language Service, Azure Openai, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), and AutoGen (or similar AI Agent tools).
7. The ability to mentor and coach junior developers.
8. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines.
9. Strong customer service skills.
10. Ability to work independently; and
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels.
12. Knowledge of SQL and various database programming languages is good to have, including understanding of database normalization, indexing and querying. Familiarity with different database architectures, including relational and NoSQL is a plus.
Preference will be given to individuals:
• with Microsoft certifications, e.g. Microsoft certified AI Engineer, Microsoft certified Data Engineer
• At least 4 to 6 years of working experience in similar organization and position
