The candidate must have a solid understanding of accounting policies and procedures, accounts receivable and special projects. The candidate must have excellent excel spreadsheet skills, be hands-on and willing to handle a variety of clerical duties, be flexible yet thorough and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while working productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
-Prepare journal entries
-Complete general ledger operations
-Complete monthly GST and PST returns
-Process Payroll
-Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
-Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
-Draw up monthly financial reports
-Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
-Assist with year-end closings
-Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
-Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
-Account/bank reconciliations
-Review and process expense reports
-Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
-Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Qualifications
-CPA or close to completing CPA.
- Corporate background is ideal
- 2-5 years experience
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
