Responsibilities
As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for ;
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Actively contribute to the monthly closing process by preparing journal entries, analyzing financial data and comparing results against budget.
- Ensure reconciliation of revenues between the accounting system and the source systems where car movements are recorded.
- Participate in the preparation and updating of annual and quarterly budgets.
- Optimize accounts receivable management by supervising accounts receivable clerks.
- Prepare monthly sales tax returns for all group companies.
- Provide accurate, reliable and clear financial information to support informed decisions.
- Respond to requests during internal and external audits.
- Apply and comply with established internal controls.
- Meet strict production deadlines.
- Actively participate in various projects aimed at improving accounting services.
Qualifications
The qualifications required for this position are as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA a strong asset.
- 5 years experience minimum.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Bilingualism required
