Responsibilities include In details:
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.).
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
reports.
Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Facilitate the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and ensuring all close processes are completed in a timely manner.
Prepare supporting documentation for external audits and assist in audits as needed.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and any other relevant standards or regulations.
Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
Identify areas of risk within financial processes and provide solutions to enhance control and efficiency.
Financial Analysis and Support Collaborate with other departments to provide accurate, timely financial information and insights.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and recommend
actions.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze financial data accurately

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. This role will encompass a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month - end close procedures. The Senior Accountant will have a key role in ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks and compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards.
