A global FMCG is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting tea. If you possess strong accountability, structured analytical skills, and a proactive attitude, we invite you to apply. You will contribute significantly to the team and organization by ensuring accurate accounting, internal controls, and risk analysis. This role will closely support the Head of Accounting and play a crucial part in Monthly End Closing, tax analysis and filing, internal control initiatives, external audit preparations, and various finance-related projects.Key Responsibilities:-Lead Month End Closing (MEC) process ensuring accurate entries according to accounting policies and standards.-Collaborate with Controlling team and stakeholders to ensure accuracy during closing.-Provide guidance to Accountants for Billing, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets.-Enhance Internal Controls and ensure adherence to operational procedures and manuals.-Manage External and Internal Audit requirements.-Responsible for Tax Accrual and filings.-Lead projects to improve internal controls and standard operational procedures.Experience, Knowledge & Skills:-3-5 years of accounting experience.-Proficiency in Accounting/Closing processes (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tax filing, accruals).-IT literate with ERP system knowledge (e.g., SAP, Oracle).-Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).-Knowledge of local tax regulations, GAAP, and IFRS.-Bookkeeper Certification (or equivalent) required.Personal Attributes:-Strong interpersonal skills and team player.-Effective communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts.-Problem-solving mindset.-Embrace professionalism, responsibility, and passion.
