Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time only
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students aged 11-16 who have special educational needs, including Autism. You'll support teachers in delivering classroom activities and engage students in practical outdoor sessions, such as Bushcraft and life skills. Your role is key to helping students meet their academic, social, and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
- Assist students in working towards their Education and Healthcare Plan (EHCP) objectives.
- Implement and support positive behaviour strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and health and safety concerns.
- Foster positive social interactions and teamwork among students.

- Basic numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills are required.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
