The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll become an essential part of our supportive community, helping students build confidence and learn in a way that works best for them. This is not just another job-this is your chance to make a meaningful impact on young lives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering creative, personalised learning activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to help students flourish.
- Support classroom behaviour management and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other team members to tailor each student's learning experience.
- Encourage students' personal growth, confidence, and independence.
What They're Looking For:
- Experience with children with severe autism is a plus, but not required-what matters most is your heart and dedication.
- A patient, understanding, and adaptable mindset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A friendly, upbeat attitude and the ability to bring positive energy to the classroom.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or relevant experience).
- A passion for working with children with additional needs.
