Role Overview
You'll work alongside our teaching staff to provide support to students with diverse educational needs. Your responsibilities will include classroom assistance, one-on-one support, and helping to maintain an inclusive, positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
🎓 Student Support:
- Offer personalised support to help students in their academic and social development.
- Encourage independence and resilience through structured activities.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive environment.
📚 Classroom Assistance:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons for students with special needs.
- Maintain a well-organised and engaging classroom environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress to the teaching team.
Who We're Looking For
- Experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach to working with students.
