Responsibilities:
* Provide support to pupils, teachers and the school, helping to cater for their day-to-day needs
* Work proactively as part of a team
* Support, recognise and respond to the individual needs of pupils
* Use team teach training when appropriate
* Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
* Be a positive role model to pupils, setting high expectations for behaviour and achievement
* Encourage pupils to engage with activities and provide feedback on their progress
* Work effectively with the classroom teacher to promote a positive learning environment
* Monitor and evaluate pupils' progress and provide feedback to the teacher
* Be aware of and comply with relevant policies and procedures
* Contribute towards the overall aims of the school
* Supervise pupils on trips, visits and out of school activities
Requirements
* NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification/ experience
* Previous experience working with Primary School pupils of a relevant age
* Team Teach Training (desired)

This two-form entry school in Kirklees is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their Year 4 class. The role will include working one-on-one with individual pupils and providing general classroom help. This position is full-time and starts January 2025 - July 2025.
