The Role :
We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to work at our partnered esteemed SEN School based in King's Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with a range of SEN and contribute to their academic and personal growth.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN and assist with classroom activities and adapt learning resources to meet individual needs. You will support students with emotional and social development, using positive reinforcement and tailored interventions.

Your Responsibilities:
- Assist class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a wide age range, from Reception to Year 11.
- Tailor support to address the unique learning requirements of students with SEN.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Caring and empathetic personality.
- Commitment to safeguarding children.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
