This setting support approx 100 learners and is fully subscribed at present. This school is in trust with 3 other specialist schools locally so can offer lots of progression opportunities. All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience would be desirable but not essential (Must be able to provide references)
Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or young people
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
