We are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support various temporary roles in specialist schools near Eastbourne. This position involves working with primary and secondary learners, supporting them on a 1:1, small group, and intervention basis.
Role Details:
- Location: In or near Eastbourne
- Start Date: ASAP (Part-time and full-time hours available)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to SEN and mixed-ability learners across different age groups
- Work 1:1 or with small groups to offer tailored support
- Assist in interventions and facilitate academic progress
- Help students engage with a broad and balanced curriculum
- Learners: Approximately 70+ pupils per school, mixed abilities, including SEN students
- School Ethos: Focused on community and individual growth, where every child matters
- Curriculum: Broad and balanced, with attainment levels above the national average

What They're Looking For:
- Previous experience working in schools, nurseries, or care settings, ideally as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
- Ability to work well with SEN students and learners with mixed abilities
- Flexible, resilient, and positive attitude when supporting diverse learners
- Eligibility to work in the UK
