Randstad Education is partnering with specialist schools across Liverpool, assisting children and young individuals with a range of Special Educational Needs. We are seeking dedicated, confident, and patient educators to join our team and support young learners with various special needs as soon as possible. This term-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a committed department, with the potential for permanent placement within the school. You'll work with children and young people with diverse Special Educational Needs, including CLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and Autism. While previous experience in schools or with young learners is beneficial, it is not essential.
Initially offered on a contract basis, this role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is a full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible, covering the remainder of the academic year within an SEN setting.
Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will work with children and youth exhibiting various Special Educational Needs, including Autism and ADHD. The school seeks a confident, creative, and resilient behavior mentor capable of fostering positive learning relationships with young individuals.
- Demonstrated experience working with SEN pupils in school environments
- Patient, passionate, and professional demeanor
- Deliver lessons across diverse classes
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students
- Demonstrate confidence, punctuality, and eagerness
- Develop lessons aligned with the P Scales curriculum
- Foster positive learning relationships with SEN pupils
- Available for an immediate start
- Excellent communication and management abilities
- Support students with a spectrum of Special Educational Needs, including MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and Physical Disabilities
- Strong work ethic and a positive outlook
