Qualified Teachers for SEN School Urgently Required

We are supporting a well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students aged 11 to 19 with SEMH. Their mission is to empower students to reach their full potential and achieve their educational and personal goals.
Position: Teacher (all specialisms considered)
Contract: Full-time or 4 days per week.
Start Date: October or soon after
As a Teacher at this school, you will play a vital role in fostering creativity, self-expression, and emotional development among their students through engaging lessons. You will be part of a supportive team committed to making a difference in the lives of young individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported and valued.
- Encourage students to express their emotions and thoughts through artistic expression, boosting their confidence and self-esteem.
- Utilise various teaching strategies and adapt your approach to meet the specific requirements of students with SEMH needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Cover pre-planned lessons from different curriculum subjects when needed, ensuring a seamless continuation of learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable.
- A genuine passion for education and the ability to inspire creativity in others.
- Experience in covering lessons across various curriculum subjects is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong organisational skills to effectively plan and deliver art lessons and cover sessions.
Salary: The salary for this position will be in the range of £30,000 to £45,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
