The Role :
We are seeking a passionate Teacher to work at a welcoming SEN School based in Cambridge. As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with a small group of students, tailoring your lessons and support to their individual needs. You will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom where students are encouraged to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.

Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet the specific needs of students with a range of learning difficulties
- Providing one-to-one and small group support, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs
- Assessing and tracking student progress, offering targeted interventions as needed
- Collaborating with other staff, including teaching assistants, to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to build self-esteem and independence
The ideal candidate will:
- DBS (or the willingness to apply)
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Have a passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Be patient, adaptable, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or have relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proactive, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in an SEN setting is preferred but not essential
