About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN teachers to join our dynamic team in Essex. Your role will involve adapting to learners' diverse needs and abilities, utilizing excellent behaviour management techniques, and demonstrating creativity in planning and delivering lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Employ creative and engaging teaching methods to support and inspire SEN students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the senior learning team to provide the best educational outcomes for students.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students.
- A clear understanding of children's individual needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.
- Creativity in lesson planning and delivery.
- A clear DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- A sense of humour and a positive, resilient attitude.
