This long-term opportunity offers the chance to work closely with both KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs, providing vital support and guidance in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver tailored interventions and strategies that address the specific needs and challenges of each student.
- Foster positive relationships with students, offering emotional support and encouragement to help them develop confidence and resilience.
- Implement behavior management strategies and interventions, promoting positive behavior and a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support plans for students with SEMH needs.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with KS3 and KS4 children with SEMH needs, along with the patience, empathy, and understanding to support their unique requirements.
- Previous experience working in a similar role or setting, preferably within a KS3 and KS4 SEN environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meeting the diverse needs of students and the school community.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one) is essential for this role.
