This school has been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted for over seven years and is both award-winning and nationally recognised. Our modern and welcoming environment is currently seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our dedicated team immediately. This role has opened due to the retirement of a current team member. We support over 80 pupils, aged 5 to 19, with complex and profound Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Role Overview:
- Assist students in re-engaging with learning and enjoying school life, particularly those who have been out of education for extended periods.
- Support the delivery of specialised teaching and integrated therapeutic support.
- Work in small classes and adopt a nurturing approach to help break down barriers to learning.
Position Details:
- Full-time position starting ASAP
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Requirements:
- Relevant SEN experience
- Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
- Provide 1:1, small group, and whole-class support to learners with SEN
