We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Harrogate. This full-time role starts ASAP and offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in student's lives.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field.
Experience working with students with SEMH, primary, or EYFS backgrounds is advantageous.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Team Teach certification (preferred).
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).
Assist in creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Work one-to-one or in small groups to help students access the curriculum effectively.
Support students with behaviour management strategies, promoting positive outcomes.
Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies to develop and implement individual support plans.
