Responsibilities
•Conduct cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps by:
oWorking with the technology stakeholders to explain how an assessment is performed and what information is required as part of an architecture to complete an assessment.
oReview architectures/proposed technology designs to provide feedback to the technology stakeholders.
oDocumenting the cyber security design assessment of the proposed solution
oCollaborate with security and technical teams to ensure security requirements and risks, including potential mitigations, are understood.
oFollow up on the cyber risk assessment to its completion (end to end process).
•Develop and provide guidance on repeatable security solutions (i.e., patterns).
•Participate in various informational sessions as needed
•Other activities and deliverables, as required.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills
•University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
•Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
•A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security
•Demonstrated experience working in the field of Cyber Security Architecture.
•Experience with risk management and security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex security and technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications
•Demonstrated knowledge of architecting and implementing technical solutions in an enterprise environment.
•Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (Azure).
•Demonstrated knowledge of application security (SDLC).
