One of our top partner schools is seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to teach at a friendly Secondary School in Lambeth. An individual with creative teaching and classroom management abilities, as well as the ability to offer knowledge-rich English lesson plans, is required to succeed within the curriculum.
This Permanent position is to start from September 2024.

Your main Responsibilities being an English Teacher includes:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
- Complete marking and assessments for pupils in KS3 and KS4
- Competent knowledge and experience of the UK national curriculum
These are some Requirements you need to have to get this job:
- Relevant experience and teaching qualifications - PGCE, QTS
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- 2 recent professional references (Essential)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Experience teaching English across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 Advantageous)
- Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
