Our client is a Professional Services MNC, currently recruiting for a Regional Payroll Specialist (6 months contract) to join their HR team due to a temporary increase in business needs.
about the job
This role will manage the full cycle of payroll activities for SEA countries (total around 100 headcount). The job scope includes but not limited to:
- Manage payroll action items, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for SEA by working closely with third party payroll vendors, including income tax submission.
- Support in the project to implement global payroll vendor
- Work closely with HR Shared Services team to process benefits and leave entitlements for employees
- Support HR Business Partner in employee life cycle activities related to payroll, which include on-boarding and off-boarding activities etc
- Manage external vendors for payroll, benefits and mobility administration, including insurance renewal, assignments, tax reporting and audits, etc
- Work closely with immigration vendors to manage the work pass renewal and application process
- Work closely with the HR Shared Services team in maintaining the HRIS system and ensuring all documents are saved
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports to internal (Finance, IT etc.) and external stakeholders (MOM etc.)
- Provide support in ad-hoc HR projects if required.

- Education in human resources, business, or related fields
- Experience in Regional Payroll Processing vendor management
- Proactive, detail-oriented and independent
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and a data-driven mindset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skill
