Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons.
- Assist teachers in the delivery of practical experiments and demonstrations.
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and organised, maintaining an inventory of supplies.
- Carry out routine safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the development of practical resources and assist with student projects.
- Help maintain a clean and safe working environment in the labs.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a school setting or laboratory environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
- Excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
