Key Responsibilities:
- Set up equipment and materials needed for practical science lessons and demonstrations.
- Ensure all materials are ready and in good working condition prior to lessons.
- Provide support to teaching staff and pupil's during practical experiments and investigations.
- Demonstrate the correct use of equipment and techniques to pupil's.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment is safe and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the storage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and tidiness in laboratories and preparation areas.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A passion for science and a commitment to supporting educational goals.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
