We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our teams in Lancaster and Blackpool, inspiring and guiding KS3 and KS4 students. We offer competitive daily rates, ranging from £155 to £230, based on your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.
In this role, you will teach engaging lessons, track student progress, and give helpful feedback to support their learning. You will create lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking, helping students understand science concepts and how they apply in the real world.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Punctual and reliable
- Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning
- Supervise and support students in laboratory experiments and research projects.

- Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
- Strong classroom management

Personal attributes:
- You will have a genuine passion for teaching
- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
- Be flexible and committed
