We are looking for inspiring Teaching Assistants to join our school in Southwark on a full time basis. This role is needed to start from September on a long term position. We will require you to support learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis.
This is a long term role available to start in September 2024!

Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include:
- Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all the children
- Be responsible for making sure each lesson has the correct preparation and materials
- Understand the pupils needs individually, including those with special educational needs
- Working with small groups and 1:1
- Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
These are some of the requirements that we need from you:
- An Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Able to make an impression on both us and our client
- Minimum 1 year experience working in Schools preferred
- 2 recent professional references (this is essential)
- Flexibly adhere to the needs of the children in a professional and friendly manner
- Good classroom management skills
