We are seeking to appoint an experienced Receptionist to work in our busy school's reception.
This role requires you to work from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm (35 hours per week), Monday-Friday, as this is a full-time position that starts soon.

Responsibilities for this position will include:
- Meet and greet the staff and students in the morning and ensuring that any issues are followed up immediately
- Become a SIMS user and produce reports as when requested
- Manage a varied workload using a structured, timely and prioritised methodically
- You will act as the first point of contact for both telephone calls and visitors to the school
- You will also be required to provide general administrative support for a busy school office
- Booking appointments and assist with timetabling of support

Requirements to get cleared for this role :
- Previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage or a similar environment such as a hospital, doctors or charity position
- Must have previous reception, office experience and very good ICT skills with experience of using all Microsoft Office and Windows based applications
- Eligibility to work in the UK is ESSENTIAL (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- DBS on a update service is a must
- 2 proven relevant references must be provided
- You must be an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing and have exceptional administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent planning and organising abilities
